Home Again

Like drops of rain from the sky, my tears fall to the earth

Refreshing, cooling my checks like the droplets rehydrating the parched ground

The wind blows as masking my cries for the one I miss, the one I love

My heart skips, beating like the thunder bellowing through the pitch black dark

When I see the one that has been kept from me for so long my eyes light up like lighting dancing from cloud to cloud

Again our emotions collide like the waves to the shore

Home again
