Ruby leaves yield to snow flurries and
footsteps compressing pale ground.
I wander,
unintentionally pressing crescent shaped scars of fingernails
into my palm.
White remains in the reflections of store fronts;
they are mirrors, a silent introspection of my vagabond depravity.
