Home not a place 
Neither a residence 
Not a building 
But rather 
Where you find true bliss.

Where you find harmony 
Amidst circumstances 
The shield a cover
Protecting unapologetically 
From external forces 
Without fear or panic.

A place of solace
For rejuvenating 
Restoring lost energies
Where you confide 
Returning for healing 
A place of rest after all dealings. 

A place of hope 
Find inspiration 
Whenever you down
Without pressure 
Picking you up 
According to your pace not race.
