Holy Bible

Holds many precious promises for those
Obedient to God’s commands, who
Love His Son, from Whom the offer of Heaven flows for
Young and old who believe He can make hearts new

Blessings AND warnings throughout its pages
Illumination for the wayward or confused mind
Beacon of guiding light throughout the ages
Leads us to be forgiving, helpful, and kind
Edifies when life is good or when chaos rages

The Bible depicts a rather childish god without a clear vision or a goal. Like Trump, it encourages hate, dissension, and disparaging others whilst manipulating history to support evil intent. Your poem supports that, although I have yet to see where any of the Middle Eastern religions have been of benefit to mankind, ergo I admire your talent, but not the subject! Aloha! Rico
