- Holiday Blues -

            Christmas is full of all emotions
            Mood blue and melancholy
            Deep in a dark drawer
            - Not so much jingle bells
            The darkest time of the year,
            woven into a web of expectations

                                  Read the writing in the pristine sand
                                  not impossible or invisible
                                  - emotions are allowed
                                  Spill pink ink with gold shimmer
                                  when adversity overshadows you
                                  Blue ... is a joker

             Offer each other space
             by releasing difficult feelings
             Life experiences,
             don't just have simple answers
             Halfway to the answer - 
             humanity and love
             Where earth and sky meet
             ... time for reflection

Let's just all sit around and count our money. I seem to recall that more people become depressed at this time of year since there is a portrayal and expectation that everyone is thrilled and happy at this time of year. However, the issues we have stay with us throughout the year, and you are a saint to point out we can spread humanity and love to help anyone suffering any distress. It's nice to be on the lookout for people to help!!
