Holding My Own

He took everything of value from me
Except a house with a busted sink
He thought I was screwed
With the denim divorce blues
I’m free now a rich divorcee

Well, that is what some men feel when they get divorced that the woman got the gold mine, and they got the shaft. I don't think anyone who goes through a divorce really wins because of all the emotions that run through their lives from what happens. Sara K

Hi Karen first of all thank you for your kind words on my POTD. I really appreciate your feedback. Love your sense of humor in this redemption write Karen. It put a smile on my face. It also reminded me of a relation I was in where it was all about her and in the end she did not receive any monetary reward. I guess they are called gold diggers. This gold digger dug but did not get gold, lol. This was wonderful to read Karen, I am favoring it because it put a smile on my face and brought back,,,
