Hived

There was a beekeeper named Jives
Who found a rash on his thighs.
The doctor said be at peace,
Nothing to fear in the least.
You simply have too many hives.

Thank you, Andrea. I really appreciate your encouraging comments. I should note that I found a great poet right here on Soup when I discovered your poems. I plan to comment on some of those tomorrow.

G'day Paul... I did get a real chuckle out of your limerick, and it does bring to mind how words in the English language have double meanings - thanks Paul - Lindsay

As usual, you make a perceptive comment, Lindsay. Until a person gets the "hang" of English, he/she must be careful re. word usage. A U.S. friend of mine, visiting an English family, said--on being introduced to their young son, "He's sure a cute little bugger." He wasn't invited back.

Jan, turns out I had trouble using Soup Mail. So, is your interview on Manx AM or FM, or does it matter? I'm excited about hearing it and have located the station, but haven't been able to access the interview.
