Pressure valves bursting
Calm reason hijacked
No loveseat reception
Words peel off
unfiltered
unschooled
unheard
through spent thoughts
of love
complications in
a jagged code of conduct
Toxic infusion
a mate's cactus grin
desert prickly
an "I do" wasteland
Banter
burly
bitter
black icing on a wedding cake
ditched
shifting possibility
