Hit the Road, Jock

Thrifty Scots made a new High Street
from plastic trash folk used to eat
The USA
Won't pave that way
Trump claims that oil just can't be beat!

I saw that story on the news - they are so innovative! Of course, saving the planet (and humanity, to boot) isn't profitable enough for Trump to mess with...

As if we don't have enough plastic trash to pave ALL of our roads! Now Iran has discovered more oil reserves, Trump will be even more hesitant to promote recycling! Aloha! Rico

Aloha, Rico. If this is true, the Scots have learned to recycle. When Gov. Inslee made climate change the focus of his campaign for president, he brought a lot of attention to the problem. After he dropped out, other Dems took up the cause. We have to accept the need to use renewable energy sources. Won't be easy, but I hope we can do it. We have to leave a positive legacy for today's children. Hugs, Carolyn

Under the current administration, even Trump's grandchildren can only expect to inherit a garbage dump! Aloha! Rico
