His Will

If He wasn’t the answer, Answering every need, every doubt, Even the fear – He persuades, To leave, whispers of ash in its path, Reasonable worries, darkness Dims the hopes, the dreams, the prayers… But, He answers… Yes, sometimes. And, from there, we reason, His blessings are more vibrant, Tantalizing in hues of joy, Laughing at the blazing fires, Passions in hearts who believe… He answers, When we least expect His presence. He is there, reassuring even the air, We breath, in prayers – still and silent, Soothing away the doubts, the dread, Fears – rising rapid like the waves, Forcing our feelings to panic – then, He reminds us that He is there, always, Forever, like the grace He brings, When He saves us, forgiving the shadows, That remember when… We refused to listen to the voice, His still, small voice… Quieting the winds and remembering Without Him, we couldn’t even live. Without Him, we would be emptiness, Nothing at all – only His will makes us real.
