His Observation
Late day sun
It’s reflection outdone
Shifts across the street
Laying before his feet
Debris and lifeless bloom
Along the side walks entombed
To some it’s an unsightly cast away,
that once shaded a summer day
Their stillness shines in a beauty of its own
Where some wish to see it cleaned
It tells a tale from where winds once galled
But I like to think it a reminder of change
The movement of life clearly explained
And so he continued his stride
Where city folk pass him by
Breathing in deep,
the fresh air
And peep, a bud or two
here in his view,
they struggle through
the late winter stew,
and this memory he drew,
