I like it, Connie. : ) A very interesting poem. Before reading your notes, I pictured butterflies both in the painting as well as in the air around it. So, the artist sees his own reflection - sounds to me like this reveals some sadness in the artist. Beyond all else, there are always the sad aspects of life, themes of separation and lack...?
