His Mercy
She was at his mercy this night
Too much controversy to fight
He accepted his full reign of power
As he laid her down like a flower
She closed her eyes, locking them tight
She was at his mercy this night
He brushed aside her silky chestnut strands
And grabbed hold the soft tremble in her hands
She laid her head back and exposed her soul
This feeling so calm, she needed to know
She was at his mercy this night
He adorned her with the love of his sight
She cried for the end, or where it begins
He obeyed her trust and forgave her sins
She then walked with peace into the light
She was at his mercy this night
