“Created in God's Image”!
Some or all? Parts of our
all?

One's mind is not necessarily
a personal friend: ownership
can mean, being owned.  A negative
shelter of sorts, unfairly withholding
blessed dreams from the bright light~ 
a Righteous Day...

    Each of us born with a ring
of keys – may their turning be
heartfelt, driven by love for 
God's entire humanity, and not 
simply a few.... If we are “Made
in the image of God” then all
images should be equally protected
and honored.... Division, may it
be politics or faith, is the soul of
manifest evil!

Many think they are God. When tossed out of Eden, God promised we would be of different colors, speak other languages and not be at peace till dead. He kept His word. Mankind is a vale of tears. Wherein we know all the answers? No. We are good at arrogat thinking we are Nostradamus. I know mankind is anything but humble Love,Panagiota xxx

I honestly don't know what people think...but I do see a lot of what I consider bad behavior -- may God forgive us I pray. God says to us, what our behavior dictates...He does not punish us...we do that to ourselves. He weeps with our pain, till we change. Let us not prolong His suffering by continued estrangement. Christ died for our sins...accept his love sacrifice.

Thank you, Evelyn; It's me, how I think. If just entertainment of sorts for myself and perhaps a few others?~that's OK! -- but, would be nice if also a smidgen of significant social value, to help make the world a more peaceful place. Not for me to say. I don't dwell on self importance.

So much to ponder on here Joe, God created us all in his image, and rightly so we should lead by example as he does, yet as man as developed so has his brain, so much today, there are those that believe they are superior to the creator. In the past wars were fought by those that believe God was on their side, today war and its reasons go far beyond that...Thanks for the poem, your poetry always leave me thinking and learning.

Hi Harry; thank you for a wise and thoughtful comment. I think those who believe that they are greater than God, really don't believe, deep down inside that there is a God. One cannot know God, and even consider such a question. I know such concept is often presented in SF movies (the mad scientist) (and there are actual devil worshipers) (maybe such types sponsored and protected by totalitarian governments), but their mind-sets are few in comparison to the bulk of humanity (Hollywood, while it can make some great films, that inspire and uplift, is also a pervasive disease of human consciousness) (not the first place one should go for moral truth and guidance) -- evil dictators, races and religions who practice separation (for Pure Purposes), do not know God -- they only know aspects that support their own philosophies and superior ambitions. None of these are good examples of humanity. My two cents on the subjects.

Hi Kim; thank you -- as individuals, and as a people, we are far from defenseless -- everything needed for a prosperous, loving humanity was given us by God from the onset.... God does not cause disease, earth quakes, hurricane, etc.. Suffering is never God's will, a mystery that we must simply accept, and trust in His Almighty Purpose and Reason. We are children of the Most High. Created in His Image. We do it to ourselves.

God's Love is unconditional. If we allow it to flow through us, there will be no choice but to Love everyone. We choose who we love and care for, God's Love makes no distinction, we are all His children. Label, religions, beliefs should not seperate those that have God's Love guiding them. God have mercy on us and teach and guide us to Love one another. Thanks for sharing this poem with us, Joe. Very inspirationnal. Peace and Love be with you my friend. Bill
