Blank Verse { 2 X 2 alternating trochaic pentameter / trochaic hexameter
Shadows from the first weeds of the garden,
hold and nest the last star’s seat in Heaven.
Now the weight of the cross or a later headstone,
chosen who will have to lose in order to win.
Satiated flavors to extinction,
rocks became pearls when I saw my own tail.
New trees cover the graves of old men while bearing
fruits still promising the gifts of faith and knowledge.
In a tear’s small rainbow, a new passion.
Broken by conviction, new foundation.
Lamb of God in seven seals Judea’s lion.
Further drift from the world, but I am not lonely.
