Heidi Sands Poet Free verse

Highlights

The plant's thin crimson leaves, shimmered in the sunlight
on the side of the road
A tint of color in my mind, as I passed by
It highlighted all of its surroundings
I wish I could be so bright
Autumn has a way of enhancing things to its peak
Blooming with lessons of growth, change and letting go
Maybe it is time for acceptance, just to embrace the flow
