Hiding In the Crowd: Part 1

I think you want to Hide in the crowd Hide yourself that is So no one can reach you Your attention seeking behavior Gives you away Instead of keeping all of your skeletons In your darkened closet Where you store your pain It exposes them To people with enough intuition To recognize your actions For what they truly are You are constantly Craving attention Because you feel alone I think you are lonelier in this crowd Than most people are When they are completely alone For a significant period of time Being around others Who only share physical closeness with you Will not give you the lasting satisfaction That I believe You are starving for Superficial encounters Pleases physical desires And give you temporary bliss But leave your soul empty In the long run Using you up And scarring you Because again you are Reminded of what Is missing from your life And it haunts you To yet again be confronted With the solitude You are running from In the first place If your rebellious actions Truly filled you up Making you whole You wouldn't feel so lonely The moment you exit The erogenous sanctuary That you entered To find a temporary fix For a void that you Have been feeling All your life But, I don't think your actions Accurately convey Who or what you really are Because I have seen some subtle glimpses Of the inner beauty you possess Just below the surface Under your macho persona And the brave facade you display Just like with your Transparent facade The thrills you are seeking Are not real They are only enticing illusions That will divert your pain temporarily But, will not be long lasting If what you found Were genuine artifacts to treasure You would feel contentment And inner peace After finding your heart's desire
