Hide and Seek

As a child hide and seek is a innocent game where the children are having the time of their life. Fast forward to the teenage years and hide and seek is no longer fun. I play hide and seek every day. My soul and heart try to hide everything from me too keep me safe. But after awhile I go numb. So i have to seek out the person that I once was. But the sad truth is I played hide and seek so much that the person who started the game no longer wants to be found and is permanently glued to the satisfaction and comfort of the dark. And in the dark is where my soul and my heart died.
