Hibiscus

Hibiscus glowing in the early light Petals bright against the sky Singing a silent song of splendor Praising Heaven's eye A songbird joins in joyful chorus Sweet melodies from a gentle dove Her spirits rise with day's enchantment And her heart is filled with Love But the sun soon yields to darkness Cold stars fill the empty sky Now alone, the winsome flower Bows her head to die
