And a universal introduction,

Who knew such a simple word
In the world’s dictionary
Could be so,
Hard 
To actually
Speak out loud,

Hola 
Bonjour
Konnichiwa 
Ni hao
I could probably
List 
20 different ways
To say hi,
It doesn’t matter 
What language the word is in
Because, it is still the worlds
Most simple collection of letters
But, 
At the same time
So fricken hard to say,
I want to be able to 
Say hi
But, 
What happens after that
Stick with me here, ok
I walk up to someone I don't know,
I say hi
Maybe I’ll even smile
I’m really trying here, ok
They look up at me
Confused
Because 
I’m a stranger
Saying hi,
They smile
And say hi back
But, instead of just saying
Hi
They are saying 
Hi?
Which are two completely different
Words,
One is inviting
The other is saying who the hell are you
And what do you want,
Now what,
What am I supposed to say after that
How’s the weather?
I like your…
Socks
I don't know,
So as much as I want to say 
That simple word
I can’t, because
What do I do after,
How do I make a connection
With someone that 
Seems cool
I don’t know
I don't know, anything.
All I know is how to say
Hi

So as simple as that word may be,
It is the most complicated
