Hey Waiter, There's a Fly In My Stew

There was once a finicky chap named Lou,

Who espied a fly swimming in his stew!

Said the waiter to the bloke,

               "What a fantastic backstroke!

He won't eat much and will leave some for you!"

G'day Bob … a quick witted waiter. Once found a blowfly in a club meal. Asked 'did you enjoy your meal? Reply; 'Yes, I just couldn't eat that.' The waitress nearly collapsed - thanks again Bob - Lindsay

I had a similar experience at the Air Force NCO club at Pete AFB here in the Springs. Found a cockroach relaxing in my cup of java. It shook up the club staff and I even received a phone call from the Base Commander apologizing. They graciously didn't charge me for my or my wife's grub. Thoughtful of them I thought!
