He's No Ordinary King

Upon his throne he sits Pondering the magic of the universe that he and his Father created Wondering what it will all look like at the end of this era He is the King of the Universe and he is also my best friend He sits there for hours contemplating love and eternity Contemplating how many times he has to come and rescue his children From the evil grips of Lucifer He is so approachable too Any time I want to talk to him I just humbly enter the throne room He is always delighted to see me and my heart melts with his gentle smile Is there any other king like our Lord? Are there any other kings that come down off their thrones to dance with each of their children? To want to make all of their dreams come true and still ask "what more, my child?" He is my bestest friend and he is my confidant I never leave home without him at my side He shares with me the mysteries of the universe and I share with him the issues of my day It's all the same to him My issues are just as important, he says with a grin I would go to the ends of the earth to give you the sun, moon, stars, and the entire spectrum of the rainbow I made each and every one of them for you anyways, my child I made the stars to twinkle when ever you looked up at me I made the sun to give you your rosy cheeks and to allow you to feel my warmth And I gave you the moon so that you could have a light to hold your fishing pole when you fish at midnight It's all for you, my child Just reach up and grab it This is my Savior This is my King He is the best thing that has ever happened to my very existence I will go to bat for him each and every day I will never be ashamed to fight for my King g.rix 1-28-15
