Heroes

Our troops, they fight to keep us safe They're lives they lose each day They leave their families far behind But that's the price they pay They're fighting hard, and standing tall Their weapons by their side With quick reactions they all leap To fight for those who died They fight to help a nation rise From war fields full of death With nerves of steel, they keep the peace Some giving their last breath We send them letters saying thanks For all that they are doing We wish them all a safe return To wives they'll all be wooing Together they will win the war And homebound they will be We all will gather, and give a cheer Our troops we'll gladly see
