Herding Sheep

We used to have some pride
Before Uncle Sam put it to sleep
The government governed people
Now they are herding sheep
We used to take a stand
Against what we thought was wrong
We used to show the world
That the U.S. could be strong
Now we act like robots
We look the other way
People still believe
In the lies they have to say
They tell us what to eat
They tell us what to drink
They tell us what to say
They tell us what to think
We just bow our heads and accept it
We bury our heads so deep
We keep losing ground on humanity
While they keep herding sheep
It's time to take a stand
For the things we know are right
It will be our own fault
If we go down without a fight
Then we will be human again
And have some pride that we can keep
We can force them to govern people
Instead of herding sheep.

You do present all of the reasons everyone in this country should be at the poles voting. If only they would take to heart what you have said we would see what the Constitutation was written for. I don't know the answers, Vince all we can do is just keep praying. God Bless, Cile
