Herbert (12) My Search

I had success, power and wealth, but then, unrest made me its pen: Unease,dis-ease unravelled thoughts in my mind, shalom,I could not find: I searched,re-searched,voyaged I know not where, trust and faith was found there: Questions ebbed, doubts flowed 'ere I made my plea: He heard, and now I see. Inspired by George Herbert's double quatrain 'Hope'
