Note :
I decided to write a romantic poem today and this one is based upon
a very sweet memory of a very beautiful and sweet girl I once dated.
Sadly life got in the way, its pull on me to be wild and roaming
caused a split. She told me, if we split now, I will never take you back
and she kept her word on that. I plead guilty to losing her due to my
wild ways and search for ever more beautiful girls to date. When young
one thinks there is always more to be had! Thus oft throws away
precious treasure seeking that ever elusive, "more and more"..
Her Softest Kiss, Gentle Warmth It Sent Me
Am I dreaming, I was once bold and young
life was a new joy, great was romance sung,
morn's birthed hot memory of night before
rubies, gold cast upon every shore.
Her bright smile, this soul rejuvenated
her sexy charms had invigorated.
I fallen warrior from love's battlefield
just barely alive, refusing to yield,
felt red sun bring on saddest doom and gloom
as echoes sang, come now enter this tomb.
Once her love, gave me strength to death resist
as in love's deep ardor I did enlist.
Am I now able to leave bloody soil
rejoin former life with its boring toil,
or hold dear her touch from dreams that renew
to remember her true words, "I love you".
Her softest kiss, gentle warmth it sent me
love, desire to never from it be free.
Am I dreaming, I was once bold and young
life was a new joy, great was romance sung,
morn's birthed hot memory of night before
rubies, gold cast upon every shore.
Her bright smile, this soul rejuvenated
her sexy charms had invigorated.
