Her Smile

When she dozed in crib and dreamt divine How soothing was her angelic smile. When she trotted around with dad’s shoes on How priceless was her cherubic smile. When her pigtails bounced as she hopped How girlish was her giggling smile. When she spoke to a cute handsome guy How impish was her flirty smile. When she felt fulfilled on donating blood How compassionate was her innocent smile. When she conquered her woes with her grin How triumphant was her charming smile. She bloomed gracefully smiling until The rapist forever crippled her smile. Renuka Krishnaraja

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
