Her Skin So Fair

This rondeau exercises a bit of poetic license in the origin of the refrain...

Her hair so soft, her skin so fair To let her know, I did not dare To gaze upon her loveliness To dream of her so sweet caress 'Twas all that I could hope to bear Her graceful steps, a dancer's flair Their rhythm light, without a care Her form did hint of fulsome breasts Her skin so fair No one knew of our affair My love for her I did not share For it had never been addressed Save in my heart where it did rest And flourish in its nesting's lair Her skin so fair

Oh, to love from afar - I've been there - poignant, gracefully done, gw.

She sounds lovely, and rondeau is not easy; I have to say BRAVO.
