Her Scarlet-Red Scepter

Breathtaking blue her sparkling eyes
   Rapturous red her ruby lips
Passionate pink her soft, tender cheeks
Luscious lavender the skirt 'round her hips

Torrid turquoise her manicured nails
Palatial purple the tiara 'cross her forehead
Eminent emerald gleam her toes' pedicure
Winsome white the silk sheets on her bed

Lovers knock on majestic mahogany doors
Heavenly hopes swelling their heathen hearts
As she raises or lowers her scarlet-red scepter
Whole kingdoms elevate---or tumble sadly apart

Indeed, the imagery is amazing, Gershon. She encompasses all of my favorite shades - turquoise, emerald, passionate pink. Colors seem to bleed with emotion. Congratulations on your win in Brian's contest! Best wishes, Carolyn
