Her Flashback

Flashback To a simple time When she was young Her dress blew as she ran through the tall grass Her bronze pigtails flying Smacking her cherry-red cheek when she glanced back To find the green-eyed boy chasing her. She picks up her speed As to get just the right jump to cross the stream. Looking back to him She finds him right behind her. Together they stumble into the weed-like grass. Bodies entwined Face-to-face Blushing like mad But they were care-free. They were young. They were love.
