Help With a Listening Ear
It's so not right
I wonder why
It's the dark of night
I begin to cry
I'm not in pain
From work today
Am I insane
Thoughts please go away
I'm normally an upbeat chap
Full of the joys of spring
Then memories come and give a slap
I just don't know where to begin
I know it will last for a few days
Hold me back and not let me think
Like one of those Broadway plays
No washing and cleaning make me stink
As they came out to haunt me
The memorys are not very kind
All I need is some friendly company
To push them to the back of my mind
A chat and a good listening ear
Will pull me though this chapter
When I'm back and have no fear
Sit and wait for the next disaster
It is a cycle within the brain
That brings me to my knees
All I want is to drive and train
Think of the birds and bees
Mental health or crazy man
It's what your called by others
Affect anyone yes it can
Even you your sisters and brothers
Spare a thought for anyone you see
Who appears in distress
Listen to his words you may even disagree
Listening to this person is definately the best
