Help Me
fingers skim flesh,
a passion burned trail,
strong will and bright light,
now timid and frail,
what was once so sweet,
now leaves me in tears,
a comforting smile,
now the star of my fears,
a battered old vessel,
once filled to the brim,
and warmth seeping out,
of the flesh fingers skim.
