Help Is On the Way

Our country is in trouble, Hope is eroding
  Government's imploding, Crime is exploding
Prices are up the kazoo, ships are waiting in queue
  With Russia and China on the move, the USA 'strongly disapproves'

Faith in Washington's at an all-time low
  Nothing gets done, or else moves way too slow
As for the Pandemic, it still seems endemic
  Wasn't it supposed to be 'over by now'

But never fear, help will surely soon appear
  ~ Trump vs. Biden in just three short years

So true. Despite those that still defend this administration it has been a disaster. Everything from the border madness to record inflation to the Afghanistan fiasco to surging crime to energy supply and price gauging to covid mandates to sucking up to China and on it goes. More people have died from covid under this President than under Trump. And Biden had 3 vaccines that Trump handed to him. What a mess this country is in. It’s almost my bedtime so gotta go.

Hey Gershon, do you think Trump will chance losing again??? I think he's just blowing hot air, frankly. Let's see how the next three years pan out. As you surely know, things can turn on a dime. Incidentally, none of the things you mentioned in your poem can be blamed on the president,...actually. Enjoyed your verse, gw.

I hear ya, friend. I think I'd still be willing to bet he backs down when the time comes...just like he did on a few occasions before he finally ran and was elected. We'll just have to see.

Well, let's see here. Biden blames Trump for his problems. Trump spent almost four years blaming Obama for his. Obama spent almost 8 years spending Bush Jr. for his. Bush blamed Clinton for his -- even though Clinton left him a budget surplus! A budget surplus! And so it goes today with our snowflake leaders. Where's Harry Truman when we need him: 'The Buck Stops Here!!' -- Not anymore, I'm afraid... As for Trump: 'Any publicity is good publicity.' Even losing. (Remember, he expected to lose to Clinton). So, like the NBA, we all know who will play in the Finals. But we go through the motions anyway. ~ Just sayin'

This is the situation everywhere, price hike, pandemic, man made disasters....all so rampant and life is made bitter. We can only hope that help is on the way ! Profound thoughts, powerfully presented, dear friend....
