This is actually a true story. I was 12 years old and my older brother was 14. Sometimes the littleler guy gets the upper-hand...and boy, the elder brother well deserved a whoopin' this time (lol)
On a sun-filled day, and a cloudless sky
We yearned adventure...my brother and I
The woods out yonder- called our names
Traveling echoes, spoke..."let's play games"
Early aged, our thrill- playing (Hide-n-Seek)
We'd play for hours, near "Crooked Creek"
As I hid motionless- in a ditch of clay
A grown-ups voice; whispered "Come this way"
A strangers voice- I heard... I cried
When he spoke low-pitched, said- "I saw you hide"
When I turned my neck, goose-bumped from fear
I peed my pants- seen no one there
In my soaked undies, and my yellowed jeans
I yelled to my brother...to hear my screams
My devilish brother, jumped...from a tree
And laughed like hell, said "That was me"
So, I chased his tail 'round "Picken's Pass"
And for the first time ever- I kicked his ...
