Notes About The Poem

FICTIONAL WRITE FOR WRITE 11 BEAUTIFUL LINES CONTEST SPONSORED BY CONSTANCE LA FRANCE 4/15/25

Hell Hath No Fury

"It takes more than a band aid plaster to mend a broken heart". Quote by Poet

I warned her not to steal my guy but sadly this was not the case. She's trouble and I won't deny I warned her! I found them naked at my place, I'm seething I'm not gonna lie - revenge is etched upon my face! "I'll kill you both," I loudly cry as I hit them with a bronze vase. So now you'll know the reason why I warned her!

OMG Jan, such violence! In the poem at least a warning had been given. I guess people do get mad and act rashly. We hope our parents don't. Take care and smiles!! They should have at least gone to a motel!

It paid off using rhyme zone as in the UK we say the word like varse but it fitted in so well with the way you say 'vase' hugs jan xx

I think I feel a tumbleweed blowing around. Hell hath no fury like a woman poet scorned? If there is beauty to be found, it's in courage.

Just walk away from the guy and his … lol! That is just crazy! I would imagine that the longer she was with him and the more unexpected that bronze vase would increase in size and heft. Quote is great!
