Heaven's Fields
Here beneath this sacred earth
Lies one truly twice my worth.
Standing here, confronting death
Whispering "I love you " beneath my breath.
The world is now a colder place,
For I cannot look upon your face.
But in the Lord's appointed time
Once more, you'll place your hand in mine.
Then in heaven's fields, we shall roam.
For eternity, will be our home.
