Heavenly Journey
I hold three magic rocks, in my hand
Rolling them over and over and over
Leaving this reality behind, far behind
As I close my eyes and drift off to dream
I see my body lying on the bed
And I hover near the ceiling
Floating like magic
Through the window a light shines
So bright and glowing it draws me closer
I’m weightless and drifting toward the heavens
Looking down to the world below
Chaos and stress leave me
I am free, soaring like a bird in the night
Clouds fade in the distance
And the light shines more intensely
The nearer I get; the warmer its glow
A rainbow of colors dances around me
Swirling in and out of my spirit
Allowing me to mingle vibrantly
I recognize many faces
Like clouds of color
Their energy embraces me
Inviting me; welcoming me in
Below the earth resembles a portrait
Painted with the hand of God
Shimmering in brilliant color
Bold and full of life
I awake still filled with light
Feeling the fire within my soul
Longing to once again visit this joyful place
Knowing that one day I will
