Mercy, kindness and benevolence

Heavenly Father, know my great need
To be the person you planned…
With a heart that is true to your direction
Alive with encouragement and acceptance

Heavenly Father, know my mind
And teach me how to believe…
With a pure and vulnerable spirit
Filled with devotion to your rule

Heavenly Father, know my spirit
Fill me up with your joy…
Expressions of gentleness and love
That only You are capable of showing

Heavenly Father, know my deeds
That are meant to honor You….
With generosity and bounteousness
Gifts of your character to me
~
Heavenly Father, know how I feel
When I can’t understand…
Help me to reach toward the Bible
For the answers to questions I have

Heavenly Father, know my soul
And how I want to know you…
With all my heart, I’m seeking You
With love that is alive inside
~
Heavenly Father, know I give You
My greatest strengths…
Honoring You with my faith and love
Sent by Your one and only Son
