Heaven As I Imagine It

Heaven is the place we’re all dying to go.
As the bride of Christ, His church,
we’ll serve our King
who will replace the sun and moon
as the light
of the New Jerusalem...
We will continue to be His servants
and I cannot imagine what tasks
God has planned.
I’d like to work with children
like I’ve done all my life here.

I’ve read of a diet of various fruits
and I think our bodies will be altered a lot.
One idea is that the New Jerusalem
will be a planet in space
where we will traverse the inside
of a transparent 1500 mile cube
enclosed in a sphere.
I don’t think gravity will be a problem.

A sidenote:
The new earth will be heaven’s kingdom.
where God’s chosen people, Israel will dwell.
King David will rule as vice-regent to Christ.
I think there will be space travel between
the New Jerusalem and earth.
I’ve heard the kings of the earth will
come up to worship in the New Jerusalem.
There will be no more oceans or seas.
There will be continual light.
Open gates will need no lock and key.
Maybe I'll work at a school on the new earth??

Only God knows what heaven will be
Believers will find out someday.
No pain, no disease, no sorrow,
no jerks, no criminals, no agitators.
New undeserved pleasures await our excitement
as we finally view our Savior face to face.
