Hearts From Heaven
“I carry your heart with me(I carry it in my heart)I am never without it"
Quote _ by E.E. Cummings
A heart of gold at pearly gates does meet
too soon, for those on earth, her savior Christ.
The shape of tears do spill at grieving feet
to wipe away the dross, not time’s great loss.
Her smile, her warmth, the miles she’d walk - her mom
had lived for nine decades - they’d thought, she’d too.
A drizzle of some gifted hearts, their balm,
does land on floor and pavement planes, like dew.
A pendant gem, cuz comes across at work
and leftovers of the big sale does toss
another heart from bag of tricks - network
of blessing’s bliss from heaven’s right hand Boss.
My uncle died and Aunt found coins - alloy.
She sends her girl, her boys these hearts. O joy!
