Key Verse – Leviticus 11:44 For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
HEART THAT SEEKS SANCTIFICATION OF THE LORD
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our submission
For our holiness unto Him by His commission
While we yield ourselves to His altar of mercy-intercession
Against arrogance, haughtiness, and pride’s perversion.
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our gratefulness
For our holiness unto Him by His goodness
While we lay ourselves at His throne of graciousness
Against ingratitude, selfishness, and discontentment’s worthlessness.
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our sincerity
For our holiness unto Him by His love’s prosperity
While we bring ourselves to His compassionate authority
Against bitterness, hatred, and anger’s cruelty.
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our worship
For our holiness unto Him by His fellowship
While we give ourselves unto His bliss of discipleship
Against vices, materialism, and worldliness’ friendship.
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our praises
For our holiness unto Him by His majestic forces
While we push ourselves toward His revival-sources
Against carnality, lustfulness, and lasciviousness-curses.
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our commitment
For our holiness unto Him by His power’s achievement
While we drive ourselves to His goal for heavenly attainment
Against slothfulness, indolence, and idleness’ ailment.
Our heart seeks the sanctification of the Lord with our reverence
For our holiness unto Him by His might to make in us a difference
While we surrender ourselves to His molding against any interference
Against unbelief, doubt, and personality’s preference.
