Heart of Gold

I met a sweet lady today who has a heart as big as can be. She has a heart of gold. She was all and more of what I had heard about her. She made me feel so at ease, as I talked with her. She raised her son Dale right, with old fashion ideals and morals grounded into his soul. She has been through some rough and sad times as of late, but this dear lady still marches on, because she has a heart of gold that refuses to give up and yield to defeat. She helps others, before she thinks of herself. She really reminds me of my own mother, this is why I admire her so much, with just one meeting I learned a lot from this fine lady. She gives out love just as my own mother did, this lady was and is my Grandson Brandon's other Grandmother, and now I can see where he gets the love that sparkles in him that he tries to give to others, I will say one thing, I sure am glad that I got to meet this lady with a heart of gold. written 5-1-11 Dale is my son-in-law and Brandon's father) I met his mom for the first time today, she is visting here from Florida.-

She sounds like a special lady - and how lovely for your daughter to have such a lovely mother-in-law! (Mother-in-laws are the butt of jokes over here - I've never even met mine). A very nice write, James
