Heart of a Rainbow
There’s someone with a pure heart
so sky beautiful ... starlight celestial
Dressed in white clouds;
dove wind bleats the sound of an unblemished lamb,
which gently speaks of his holy nature:
Peace and mercy
The praying tears that we nightfall cry
have been heard from up on high
As we close our eyes for the sleep of death,
heaven groan and sigh
Seeing is believing for many ...
so it’s true —
Human rain falls at every funeral
But the Son of God
has a resurrection heart of a rainbow
Each family feels the pain and the loss:
Every colorful leaf
on the earthly tree will fall
to the tear-soaked ground
Then get grief buried by time
Yet, he with the heart of a rainbow
faced the same death crucible
Then he made the storm of hopelessness cease
after three days below
This life will sadly end
in a torrential downpour of tears
Bringing fretting fears
which gray matter scatters the stricken mind
Every color of thought
know this eventuality to be true
But his resurrection heart of a rainbow
will dry away the tears
His undying love will reign forever
upon the colorful trees of life not planted in an evil field,
those who did not willingly sin yield —
Whose fruits of praise will be faith revealed
