Heart In Secret (Saraband Sonnet (Italian Quatrains))

Can words be mine in pen and ink if they can write without my hand the odes, like strangers, make me think. For love I cannot understand but in poetry I can find the words that say what's on my mind by carving names into the sand. As tears now flow beneath the stars, will my love see the bright moonlight and will the night always leave scars. My dreams I hide from wisdom's sight, the heart in secret cannot show how you remind my pen to flow -- yet it's for you alone I write.
