:) Thanks for the laugh, Bob! I'd heard about St. Patty and the snakes, but I guess we'll never know how much truth there is in that. Enjoyed, Bob! Hugs, Carolyn

I hear Florida is over-run with the critters and we have our share of them here in Colorado! Thank you Judy for your kind comment and if it is appropriate to say, have a happy St Pats Day. Enjoy your warm weather - 8 inches of snow last nite here in Col Springs - Bob H

You know, I've heard that too about the venerable Saint. They say his motto was: We can't stand Pat! lol. Cheers, Gershon

G’day Bob … if Ireland wants some snakes, they can have a million or two from here as well as some human ones. The Irish don’t know what they’re missing - thanks again Bob - Lindsay

A few browns from Australia would shake them up for sure, Lindsay. We could ship a few rattlesnakes (and a few politicians) to them to upset their world!!!f Bob

Cute one. Enjoyed reading it today. How did you fair during all this very wet cold weather? We did not get the worst of it. We had clouds, wind, rain and cold with freezing temperatures at night but I am thankful that it wasn't as bad here as it was in some places. Thanks for your visit. Sara

Thanks Sara. We did not get the brunt of the storm altho we had some snow and cold weather but it wasn't associated with the Texas mess. Today it is 65 degrees but snow and cold expected Wed and Thu - such is Colorado weather! Stay warm - Bob

Thanks Tom. The sweepstake was established in 1930 to finance hospitals in Ireland but rapidly filled the pockets of its founders. It passed into history in Feb 1987. If interested, type in your search "Irish Sweepstakes" & all kinds of info will come regarding it. Bob
