He is the wonder of my life
He heals my hurt, worry and strife
I long to give Him all of my doubt
Let Him use me and lift me out
From the disgrace I’ve been living in
The darkness that shadows me in sin
The hardness of a heart who knows
This Jesus will leave me smelling like a rose
He is the answer to all of my prayers
Without His love, my hopes would be in tears
He whispers kindness through my world
Mingling His joy with peace that He swirled
Into a mosaic of colors so brilliant and bold
It brought my heart to life and filled the mold
God had created when He made me long ago
Setting my spirit afire so that I am all aglow
He is the breath of grace falling over my soul
Sighing with a song of serenity that will console
Even the night runs away from the sweet light
That reflects from my touch as I continue to fight
For all that is good, all that He blesses, all His love
Tenderness and affection birthed from up above
On wings of sweetest faith, inspiring gentle grace
Which will leave me full of feelings I can’t replace
Hallelujah sweet Jesus, the love of my lifetime
Hallelujah to the heavens where I will climb
As this world leaves me with one purpose, one goal
To glorify the Father, give Him devotion from my soul
Hallelujah sweet Jesus, the One I call my hope
The answer to my prayers, the reason I can cope
The music that feeds my spirit with kindness and love
The feeling that awakens when I look to heaven above
