He Had to Start Crying Was terrifying, So he had to start crying; People were dying. The hopes and fears of all the years Did not create any crocodile tears Were real as can be each and everyone What if had been your daughter or son? James Thomas Horn Retired Veteran. Poet and Father My son was killed in a fishing accident and my father was killed in an accident on board Aircraft Carrier Intrepid. I know what I am talking about and doubt if some others do on TV discussions.

Hi Jim, The Haiku put very simply with a most serious message.A well written Haiku Jim Some accidents have no rhyme nor reason. I keep all the Haiku i can Jim so this is a fave.

I know it isn't supposed to rhyme or have capitalization or punctuation. I wend and did it anyway and have called it Horn Haiku. Jim Horn
