I need you today – this moment
I needed you yesterday,
I’ll need you tomorrow and always
There won’t be one moment
When I don’t need you, dear Lord
Abide with me, Jesus…
Pour out your peace through me
There has never been one day
When I wasn’t craving you here
With me, alive within…
Whispering your joy through me
Including me in your promises
Love that never dies, is alive
Thriving on the inside, a holy light
The things you give to me
More than the stars or moon
Much wiser than a sun in June
Sweeter than the strawberry dew
Brighter than the glorious praise
That sweetens my heart each day
With reminders that I speak to Him
When I pray, when I say… what is inside
The hope, the faith, the love that delights
In His music, His dance, His second chance
To be the woman He created me to be
The woman stirred by His gifts… His grace
The wonder of His fruits…
Fruits of the spirit embrace, with thanks,
A glorious Savior, those nail scarred hands
Reassuring, enlightening, encouraging…
Promising the gifts that will deliver a certainty
That He is alive and He never can die
He is my guide, my breathe, my entire life
As long as I live and even when I expire
He will be there, calming, healing, helping
Me through every doubt, each fear, all my tears
He is the One who makes my life worthwhile
And He is the SON who shines, erasing every shadow
Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
