When a cold is the thing that you’ve got You may cough or may sneeze quite a lot And the gunk that will issue To each crumpled tissue Seems harmless but really it’s not!

Hi ilene, first, I wish you a speedy return to good health. Second, I'm going to cross the line and offer an interjection. And the gunk that ensue's. With each crumpled tissue. May seem harmless, but really it's snot. :) Good Day.

hey robert! so good to hear from you! i wrote this poem around that last line and wasn't sure whether to write it as you did in your comment or leave it the way it was, hoping that people would figure it out. i think you're the only one to have figured it out, though. thank you for doing so!
