Have I done the best of all that I could
Have I lived my life the way I should
Have I said the things I couldn’t say
Have I made the best of each new day

Have I been strong when I felt fear
Have I heard things that I need to hear
Have I kept a smile when skies were gray
Have I made the best of each new day

Have I learned or failed to understand
Have I lent very many a helping hand
Have I allowed my morals to ever stray
Have I made the best of each new day
